Marie Lashley is a past pupil of the Caribbean School of Dancing who was a member of the Metamorphosis Dance Company from 2010 to 2016. Since being awarded the KAK Scholarship in 2013, she has gone on to train with the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive, toured with the company to Costa Rica and performed works by Bridgette Wilson, Nicole Wesley & the late Claudia Applewhite to name a few. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Jamaica with a BSC in Geology. She continues to practice her artistic expression through performance, notably alongside Nailah Blackman and Patrice Roberts to name a few. She is grateful to the CSD for having her love for dance be nurtured over the years, and has recently joined the Staff, teaching the RAD ballet syllabus – Beginners, Grades 1 and 7.
